Whereas traditional teaching environments encourage lively and engaged interaction reward extrovert qualities, introverts, others with symptoms that make social engagement difficult, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), are often disadvantaged. This population is more in quieter, low-key learning does not speak up answer questions lecture-style classes. These individuals passed over school later their careers for speaking assumed to be competent gregarious outgoing colleagues. With the rise of metaverse democratization virtual reality (VR) technology, post-secondary education especially poised capitalize on immersive VR provides prepare students future work, where collaboration will key. study seeks reconsider role introverts those ASD. The has potential continue workplace changes already accelerated by pandemic open new avenues communication a inclusive audience tomorrow.
